Code Review

Much of what we would expect to be covered in our code review should be covered in the MobileCoin Onboarding Guide. However, as a manager it is important to understand and enact the enforcement of these rules.

A code that is not reviewed properly may as well have not been reviewed at all. The review process is primarily entrusted to the engineer, and its continuous involvement in the development process is entrusted to the manager.

Reviewing code is part of what we expect of an engineer at MobileCoin and something that if neglected shows that developer in a poor light.

Following instructions correctly and implementing solutions is part of what got them a role on the team. It wouldn't make sense for them to abruptly stop doing so.

When reviewing the first few PRs of a new engineer, it is even more critical to enforce these rules. As such regulation leads to continued adherence to coding rules.
